La Daviais is very quick and easy to find. We're located just four kilometres West of Junction 32 of the A84 - the main motorway that runs past the Channel Ports of Caen and Le Havre. The journey from Caen takes about 1½ hours, around thirty minutes more from Le Havre or Cherbourg. When leaving any of these ports, follow signs initially to Rennes, then Mont St.Michel which will lead you onto the A84 motorway. Watch out carefully for these signs as at some junctions they're very close to the actual lane exits - especially on the dual carriageway south from Caen.

Travelling south on the A84, head towards and past Avranches (ignore further signs to Mont St.Michel). You'll need to get off at junction 32, about ten miles south of Avranches. You'll arrive at a roundabout at the top of the slip road: take the second turning off this roundabout (signposted Villiers-le-Pre) and travel about four kilometres down the D230, a small country lane which passes through various open fields. You'll eventually come to a junction: turn sharp left and in 250 metres or so you'll come into La Daviais, a hamlet of just eight houses. Our's is the last group of houses in the hamlet: follow the road slowly around the right hand bend at the end of the village and pull into the driveway on the right hand side: look for the two white posts either side of the entrance.

Alternatively, if you'd prefer a shorter journey by road, we're only about 45 minutes from the port of St.Malo. If you arrive in St.Malo, follow signs initially to Rennes on the N137, then Mont St.Michel on the N176 (ignore further signs to Rennes at this point). Follow this road until you reach the turn off (D997) to Pontorson. Follow the signs to and through the town: about 100m after you go past Lidl's store on the left hand side, you'll come across the turning for the D30 on the right hand side. Follow this road for around 8km until you reach the small town of La Croix Avranchin. Turn right on to the D40 and then after around three km. on to the D163 which after a couple of km. leads directly into La Daviais. Our's is the last group of houses in the hamlet: follow the road slowly around the right hand bend at the end of the village and pull into the driveway on the right hand side: look for the two white posts either side of the entrance.
